Urcrib

Sell to people who already know it fits.

Urcrib for vendors: makers, showrooms, workshops and market sellers. Customers plan their rooms at their real size, with your pieces in them. When they are ready, the quote request arrives measured — the room, the piece, the doorway and the stairs. Customers pay through Urcrib: a deposit to start, the balance on delivery.

How it works

  1. Claim your pieces. Find what you make or sell in the catalogue, or add it. Give its real sizes and it is marked verified by your shop — customers see your name on it.
  2. Get requests that come measured. A customer places your piece in their own room, at its real size. When they ask for a quote, it arrives with the room, the piece, the doorway and the stairs attached.
  3. Quote once, and get paid through Urcrib. No site visit to measure, no back-and-forth over WhatsApp photos. The customer pays through Urcrib — a deposit when you start, the balance on delivery — and the money reaches your bank the next working day. We keep 8%.
  4. See what customers look at. Which of your pieces are placed, in which kinds of rooms, and at which sizes people ask for them — so you make what fits the homes near you.

Fair by design

  • 8%, and nothing hidden. Taken from each payment before it reaches you. The customer pays your price; nothing is added to it.
  • Ranking is never for sale. Customers see vendors by how well they match, never by who paid.
  • Featured means labelled. Featured places are marked as featured, and capped for each category in each area.
  • Your prices, with your name. Every price shows your shop and the date you gave it. A range stays a range.

Pricing for vendors

₦10,000, a month, from your first paid order. Your first monthly fee comes out of your first customer's payment — you never pay before Urcrib has earned you something. After that it is due every month to keep your pieces live to customers: taken from a payout when you have one that month, or paid by transfer or card when you do not. 7 days unpaid and your pieces are hidden, never deleted, until it is paid.

  • Your pieces in the catalogue, marked verified by your shop
  • Quote requests with the room, the piece and the sizes attached
  • Your prices, kept current, with your name and date
  • What customers place and ask for
  • Paid through Urcrib: a deposit to start, the balance on delivery

Questions

How do I join?
Apply on this page. A person from Urcrib calls you within 3 working days, checks the business is real and trading, and sits with you while you claim your first pieces. Every application is read by a person.
What does it cost?
Nothing to join, and nothing at all until a customer has paid you. Then 8% of each order, and ₦10,000 a month for one location (₦25,000 for two or more). The first monthly fee comes out of your first customer's payment. After that it is due every month to keep your pieces live — from a payout when you have one, or paid by you when you do not.
Can I give a customer my number, or take theirs?
Not before they pay. Until then nobody may give, ask for or accept a phone number, an address, a bank account or another app — and a message that carries one does not send, however it is written. If a customer offers you theirs, report it within 24 hours and you are in the clear. A vendor found to have shared or accepted details, or taken an order outside Urcrib, is charged ₦25,000 the first time, ₦50,000 and 30 days hidden the second, and loses the listing the third — plus the commission on that order. Once the customer pays, we give you their phone and address ourselves.
What counts as a branch?
A location is one place customers can find you: a workshop, a showroom or a market stall, each with its own prices. One location is ₦10,000 a month. Two or more — a workshop and a showroom, say, or showrooms in two towns — is ₦25,000 a month for all of them together, however many. Requests go to the location nearest the customer.
What if I miss a month?
We remind you first. After 7 days unpaid your pieces stop showing to customers. Nothing is deleted — your pieces, prices and history are kept — and they are live again the moment it is paid. Orders already paid for carry on as normal.
What if I deliver late?
You set the delivery date when you quote. If you need longer, ask for a new date before it passes; if the customer agrees, nothing changes. After 2 days' grace, each day late gives the customer back 1% of the price, up to 10%, from the money still held — paid to them, never kept by Urcrib. Days the customer caused do not count. 14 days late, the customer may cancel.
I sell in a market, not a showroom. Can I join?
Yes. Makers, showrooms, workshops and market sellers all join the same way. A location is wherever customers find you.
What does a quote request contain?
The piece they chose, the room it goes in with its sizes, the doorway and stairs it has to pass, how each was measured, and their message. They choose to send it; nothing else about them is shared.
My sizes differ from the catalogue. What happens?
You give your own sizes when you claim a piece. Customers who already placed it are told the size changed, rather than their plan redrawing under them.
How are vendors ranked?
By how well you match the request — the piece, your area, how current your prices are. Paying never moves you up. Featured places are always labelled.
How do I get paid?
The customer pays through Urcrib — by card, transfer or USSD — and our payment provider holds and passes on the money, never Urcrib. A deposit reaches your bank the next working day; the balance once the customer confirms delivery. Delivery itself stays yours.
